THE BAND

WaterFront officially began in the fall of 2021 when Paul Herman, Dave Clinton and Scott Stevens performed as a trio at Windy Hills Winery in Ridgefield, WA. But unofficially, these longtime friends have played music together for years at various churches, at the PDX Portland International Airport, and yes, at the Waterfront in Vancouver, WA. As a trio, WaterFront quickly became a local favorite, and on New Year’s Eve 2023, the trio became a quad, adding another longtime friend, Adam Owings on bass and vocals. 2025 brought yet another longtime friend to the lineup: Jackson Jackson on drums and vocals. Together, these five musicians form a stellar Classic Rock/R&B cover band, featuring innovative arrangements, tight crisp harmonies and an engaging fun experience. Bottom line: WaterFront makes the music that makes you smile!

DAVE CLINTON
Lead vocals, percussion, guitar

Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, Dave is a co-founder and the front man of WaterFront and is also a staff worship leader at Khesed Church in Vancouver. With incredible vocal chops and commanding presence, Dave has that rare ability to change the entire atmosphere of a room. When Dave sings, people stop and take notice.

PAUL HERMAN
Vocals, keyboards, guitars

Born in Vancouver, WA and raised in Ridgefield, WA, Paul is the co-founder of WaterFront, and also plays solo piano at PDX Portland International Airport, Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse at Ilani, select home games for the Portland Trailblazers NBA team, and many other venues.

SCOTT STEVENS
Vocals, lead guitar, violin

Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, Scott grew up in a bluegrass family and won the Washington State Fiddle Championship - Open Division as a high school student. Since then, he has been featured with numerous high-profile bands and artists, but WaterFront is honored to have Scott as a founding member.

Scott is also highly skilled and knowledgeable in auto paint and restoration, and he shares that expertise daily as the General Manager of Bob’s Paintland in Vancouver.

ADAM OWINGS
Vocals, bass guitar

Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, Adam was the first-call substitute for WaterFront in their days as a trio. Once WaterFront decided to add bass on a permanent basis, Adam was the natural choice. Equally adept on bass and electric guitar, Adam adds exceptional versatility and musicianship to the band.

Adam is also available as a Keanau Reeves impersonator. :)

JACKSON JACKSON
Vocals, drums

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Jackson is a highly skilled and versatile musician and studio engineer, but he is most at home behind his Allegra drum kit. In fact, Jackson has an artist endorsement deal with Allegra Drums, and is proud to represent them.

Jackson is also a highly acclaimed and best-selling author of romance novels along with his wife Tracey as their alter egos: Jack and Piper Davenport.
